I stole this pic from Wally's blog. If you were there, there's no explanation needed. If not...this is our home field. Just a few weeks ago the entire field was grass. After a lot of tractor work, digging, raking, and old-fashioned elbow grease (what does that even mean?), the field looked like this yesterday. The rows are piles of stones and hard dirt clumps. i'm pumped for the season to start. planning on going early tuesday (5pm?) in case the field needs more work before opening night.
